Nach dem Landesmeistertitel und dem anschließenden Aufstieg in die 2. Bundesliga konnte sich die Zweite einige Jahre in der Bundesliga halten. Nach dem Abstieg konnte man auch die Landesliga nicht halten. Nun will das Sextett um Kapitän Günther Speer wieder zu alter Stärke finden und peilt den Wiederaufstieg in die Landesliga an.
